It all depends on what you are doing with it. Overall, I would say it is definitely a great tool to use if you are very active in eve, want to really enhance a group of players, erc. But if you casual eve and have one character, and solo... No.

Damage is an easy number calculation. As an example, you do 1000 kinetic DPS. The enemy has 50% kinetic resistance so 50% of 1000 is 500. Viola. Now you just got to check against your specific rat.
